Lefkada is ideal for daily excursions whether by bus, car, bike, motorbike or boat. Lefkada will give you a unique range of tracks and paths to choose from, whichever your startng point might be. Beautiful beaches with easy access on the east side (Ligia, Nikiana, Perigiali, Nydri, Geni, Desimi, Rouda, Mikros Gialos, Syvota, Ammousa, Vasiliki, Aghiofili) where you can swim, do water sports or just enjoy a cup of coffee on the beach. The south side is well known for its warm, calm sea. The coastline is smooth with shallow waters.
If you have or rent a boat, you can go swimming to more remote beaches and visit the Prinkiponisia, Meganisi, Kalamos and Kastos.
